TRANSLOG Connect 2025:

Where Strategy, Resilience, and Innovation Shapes CEE’s Logistics Future

.

Budapest once again became the region’s strategic crossroad as the 14th TRANSLOG Connect Congress gathered Central and Eastern Europe’s senior logistics and supply chain leaders for two days of high-level dialogue, insight exchange, and partnership-building. Far from a typical conference, TRANSLOG Connect offered a rare pause in an industry defined by constant motion - a space where decision-makers could reflect, realign, and look ahead.

A Programme Build around Real-World Pressures

Across keynotes, case studies, and panel discussions, leaders explored the forces redefining modern supply chains. Every session delivered actionable insights - anchored in real operational challenges, grounded in measurable results, and shaped by the realities facing supply chain leaders across Central and Eastern Europe. Discussions covered digitalisation, automation, resilient planning, sustainable transport, AI-enabled decision-making, and a shifting geopolitical landscape. The programme offered a wide spectrum of strategic perspectives and practical frameworks, demonstrating how organisations can harmonise processes at scale, enhance planning accuracy through data, and lead successful transformation that is as much about people and culture as it is about technology. This was also emphasized by Dr Nedaa Agami, Global Senior Director, Data Science – Supply Chain and Operations at PepsiCo during her keynote presentation “From Hype to Impact: Supply Chain Transformation in the Era of AI” who explained that 70% is people and change management, 20% is technology and 10% is algorithms – Technology is the easy part!

Insights from Leaders Who Shape the Region

Sessions on AI underscored the leadership imperative of moving beyond hype towards measurable operational impact, while transformation-focused discussions emphasised vision-building, organisational alignment, and the capabilities required to navigate continuous disruption. These themes represent only a selection of the insights shared throughout the two days, shaped by real-world experience from leaders representing MOL Group, Beiersdorf, LTH Castings, cargo-partner, Vesuvius, IKEA, the Fraunhofer Institute, Daimler Truck, PepsiCo, Orbico Group, Tridonic/Zumtobel Group, and Knjaz Miloš - with the programme guided by Chairman Prof. Dr. Sebastian Kummer, Head of the Institute of Transport and Logistics at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.

An Exhibition Floor That Became a Strategic Marketplace

Meanwhile, the exhibition area once again proved to be the congress’s beating heart. A diverse portfolio of solution providers represented the core pillars of today’s logistics landscape, spanning end-to-end logistics integration, warehousing and fulfilment, palletisation and reusable packaging, automation, industrial safety, and digital platforms. Exhibitors such as Andreas Schmid Group, Cabka, cargo-partner, DP World, DSV, EURO TEAM, Intereuropa, Pallet Solution, PRIMACOŠPED, Quehenberger Logistics, A-SAFE, S2data, and Transporeon - A Trimble Company showcased the span and complexity of solutions driving the industry forward.

For many delegates, the exhibition was not just a display of technologies but a strategic marketplace. TRANSLOG Connect’s signature pre-scheduled meeting model ensured that every exhibitor stand became a hub of continuous activity. From early morning to late afternoon, decision-makers engaged in targeted discussions - comparing solutions, exploring partnerships, and aligning plans for 2026.

A Community Moving Forward With Confidence

As the region prepares for another year of transformation, TRANSLOG Connect reinforced its role not only as a meeting point but as a catalyst - a place where ideas, expertise, and partnerships take shape.

The congress returns in November 2026, promising to continue guiding the evolution of logistics and supply chain excellence across the CEE region.
